1. A Nightmare

I have lived in Towson Woods for two years and I cannot wait to move out next month. My experience living in Towson Woods has been a nightmare. Though the apartments are spacious, they leave much to be desired. The appliances in the kitchen are very old and have many problems. The appearance of the kitchen is very dull and no matter how much I clean, the floor never looks clean. You can tell that the flooring has been there for at least 20 years. The sinks and showers leak constantly even though maintenance has come out on three separate occasions and said they fixed the problem. Worst of all the walls are super thin and you can hear your neighbors at all hours of the night. There is clearly no insulation what so ever. Lastly, the apartments are infested with mice. I have had the mouse problem for the past two years and all maintenance has done is come out twice to spray pesticide and clearly their visits have done nothing. Maybe the complex would not have a problem with mice, if the dumpsters were not constantly overflowing with trash. The trash sits outside for days and sometimes even weeks before the dumpsters are emptied. When I have taken all my problems to the management, they have done nothing but rude. It is clear that because the apartment is in a college town, management believes that they can take advantage of their college tenants. However, they do not realize that many of the college students living in this complex pay for it out of their own pocket. It is a disgrace how much it costs to live in this complex, considering all the problems that it has. I would not recommend Towson Woods to anyone.

2. BEWARE!!!!
Where should I start, the terrible management and maintenance, the millions of leaks or all the broken appliances. Number one the management is probably the worst ever in history. I doubt anyone working in Towson woods has even a GED. They are all completely ignorant and catch attitudes when you call for maintenance request...as if it’s not their job to fix something. Oh and by the way they don't fix ANYTHING. They give some lamo excuse and leave without doing a god damn thing. The three bedrooms are two bedrooms with a piece of dry wall separating what use to be the dining room from the living room. It’s about the size of a shoebox and they actually had the nerve to increase our rent as if they added square feet to the apt. There are MICE everywhere and trust me maintainer doesn't care at all. Its also completely unsafe b/c they repeatedly open the fire escape and do not lock it back up when finished. It’s totally creepy, the maintainer RETARDS come onto your balcony without even a warning and then they act as if they can't believe your giving them attitude. I had to tell CHARLES the apt idiot maintence man to get out of my apt b/c he reaked of booze and cigs. This place is a real sh*thole...whatever you do DONT LIVE HERE!Oh and by the way its possible if you do you will get carbon monoxide poisoning....Oh one more thing...the bathrooms are covered with green mildew that wont come off .

Dude - just don't use the word "retard". A true retarded person would actually be helpful and try their best. It sounds like the maintenance people there are rejects - probably picked up outside the detention center at release time. I rented for 15 years and now have a house but it amazes me how bad apartments have become...it sounds like investors buy these places and try to milk every dime out without considering the lives of their tenants. When they have made enough out of you they sell to an equally greedy outfit who again spends no money on the broken down complex but charges market rents. RIPOFF!
3. Stay away!
This apartment complex is terrible. The worst part is the management...they are extremely rude and do not give you the time of day. I went to the office once to ask a question about my lease and not one of the three employees there raised their head to look at me while I was speaking. Maintenance is a JOKE. Our carbon monoxide detector was not working and maintenance came in three different times and did the exact same thing..."its probably the batteries" so they changed the batteries and when it still wasn’t working they said they would come back and replace it...2nd time they came back, "its probably the batteries"...changed the batteries again...you get the point. The water is turned off here at least once a week and, like this morning, there is nothing more than a slow drip that comes out of the shower because there is no water pressure. STAY AWAY! Horrible horrible management who do not care about any of the tenants. Don’t bother asking for any help from them because you will not get it.

4. Worst apartment complex in Towson, MD- terrible, filthy, disgusting, infested I have had issues with this complex since I have been living here.
I have lived in 5 different apartment complexes in Towson and this is by far the dirtiest, greediest, rodent infested apartments yet. I have had at least 3 mice at one time on a constant basis in my apartment. My roommates and I are very very clean girls and have tried to get rid of them ourselves...no thanks to Towson Woods. We, along with just about every apartment have complained about mice and they do nothing - they say to buy mouse traps. NEWS FLASH! The entire complex is infested! It's impossible to get rid of them without an exterminator. Not only do we live with mice, we have gotten things stolen out of our apartment several times- our doors were locked and there was no sign of a break-in MEANING THAT MAITENANCE HAS A KEY AND IS STEALING STUFF! Everyone I know that lives in Towson Woods has gotten something stolen from their apartment. Parking is ok except for the fact that there's not enough parking for everyone that has bought a permit, as well as no parking for visitors (10 spots for the entire complex). Their 3 bedroom apts are a joke! They raised their price to turn the dining room into another bedroom (literally bedroom- that’s all you can fit). If you get stuck with that room, you will not be able to fit a TV stand or desk or draws unless you raise your bed and put plastic ones under it. When something breaks, which often happens, you can forget about getting it fixed. And the worst part about living here is that the staff and Apartment Company do not care.
